About Me.

Hello! I'm Harry, a communications and publishing professional with 7+ years of experience in strategic storytelling, project management, and community engagement. I am also a published poet with a forthcoming full-length collection from House of Anansi (Spring 2027).

Through SFU’s Master of Publishing program, I specialized in editing, earning over $14,000 in awards and scholarships and completing a competitive internship with McClelland & Stewart at Penguin Random House Canada.

I spent several years at Harbour Publishing and Douglas & McIntyre, coordinating titles from concept to completion. I edited and proofread manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, and inclusive language, and partnered with designers to create visually strong, accessible books. The role sharpened my project management instincts and taught me how to balance creative integrity with production realities.

I’m now pursuing communications and content roles where I can combine strategic messaging with genuine storytelling, helping organizations connect meaningfully with their audiences.
